AI in operations, or AIOps, envision a high level of AI-assisted or AI-driven automation in IT and network operations.  As communications service providers (CSPs) are undergoing digital transformation and are challenged with new technology and service rollouts, their operations teams envision a high level of AI-assisted or AI-driven automation in IT and network operations. As AI components and systems move into CSPs’ operational environments, it is important to understand just how different working with AI is from traditional operations software. It is intent-based rather than procedural and employs non-deterministic logic, not predictable outputs from specific inputs. In this certification, we use the outputs of the TM collaboration project and Catalyst proofs of concept to explain the latest thinking and principles of AIOps. It explores the concepts and building blocks and highlights resources to go deeper into the subject.
